Little Devils new home on Mighty Networks

I’m intrigued, but I don’t know if I want to learn something new. Why are we moving?

I get it. The idea of moving to our own dedicated community may not feel like what you signed up for, especially because Facebook is such an ingrained habit for so many of us. The problem is that our community’s potential has been limited. It's my goal to create a thriving book community where you have direct access to not only me, but fellow Little Devils. In our new home we have the ability to follow only topics that interest us (such as book talk) and skip the memes (gasp!). Think of it like our very own version of Facebook! It's pretty easy to learn and I think you're going to love it.

Yay! When can we leave Facebook?

Starting today. Follow the link at the bottom of this post to join our new community over on our new Mighty Network. While things may appear a little empty to begin with, we'll soon fill up with content as more and more Little Devils join. Meanwhile you can set up your account, download the Mighty Networks app (make sure to turn on mobile notifications!), and start to feel your way around. It’s fast, easy, and doesn’t take a lot of getting used to. There are welcome posts to greet you and a short video from me.

Are you going to keep the old community open?

For now, yes. But within the next couple of months I'm going to archive the Little Devils Facebook group while we invest more time and energy in our new community that’s all ours and that we can expand in ways that make a ton of sense. Over time, I'll likely delete the Facebook group.

What if I don't want to move to the new community?

While I certainly don’t expect everyone to follow me over to our new community, I’ve also approached this thoughtfully and carefully and feel that this is the best way forward for us. I have over 1,000 members in the Facebook Group but a very small number of those members see my posts, and let's not get started on tagging and notifications, etc. I want to build a thriving community where you have direct access to me. I'm really hoping you want that too and will join me, but I understand if you don't.

I'm not good with technology, is there someone to help me?

Misty, Fleur and myself are already in our new home and are available to answer any questions you may have. The setup process is fairly simple, all you need to do is click on any of the links I've posted, or click on the big button below, and follow the prompts.
