Last night I went to my first ever concert - Elton John's Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour. To be honest, I'm not a massive Elton fan, but when the Mister suggested going and that it was going to be a historical event, well I figure it couldn't hurt, right?
First up...the concert was held in Adelaide's Botanic Park. Whoever thought it would be a brilliant idea to hold a concert in a place with TREES is a moron. My man splurged and bought us seated tickets, which was lovely. But what we both didn't think about is I'm the size of a child. I'm 5 feet. I had a brilliant view of the heads in front of me. And a tree.
Because I'm not an Elton fan, I didn't know most of the songs and I was actually bored throughout the first three-quarters of the concert. I did like his little chats between songs and the history behind them.
The acoustics were AMAZING! He sang so well, it was a great concert in that respect. I enjoyed the last few songs because I actually knew them - plus I thought it kinda cute when he was singing I'm Still Standing the audience all stood - and we stayed standing/dancing for the rest of the show. It was good to move around a little because at this point I was really cold!
As my first ever concert experience all I can say is the show itself was awesome, the energy was great, and from what I could see, the crowd was well behaved. The location was shit. And note to self, only attend concerts where you truly are a fan of the artist.
How about you? What's your favorite concert experience?

🔮WITCH WAY TO DEATH & DESTRUCTION 🔮
A Druid, a Sorceress, and a Demon Hunter walk into a bar … sounds like the start of a joke, right? Only it’s no joke. Whitefall Cove is over-run with otherworld creatures and this trio is our only hope.
With townsfolk possessed and goblins running amok, the last thing we need is a murder, but someone is out for blood, and I fear it’s mine. Llewellyn the demon hunter is convinced I’m some powerful witch that needs protecting, and as more and more bizarre occurrences pile up, I’m starting to think he might be right.
Can the supernatural threesome free our town from the grip of terror the demons have wrought, or will the darkness that I can sense coming — the one that is creeping closer and has eyes that glow red in the night — finally be my undoing?
This paranormal murder mystery will have you completely spellbound and laughing out loud!
That's all my news for this week. Hope you have a fabulous week!
PS: In February I'm going to seen the Queen and Adam Lambert Rhapsody Tour - now that one I'm excited about. And it's indoors...no trees!
