Guest Author Interview

Every few weeks I post a guest author interview on my blog where we get a little peak into an author's life! This week we're chatting with Tricia L. Sanders, author of the Grime Pays Cozy Mystery Series. Have a question for Tricia? Don't be afraid to leave a comment!

Introducing...

Cozy Mystery Author

 Tricia L. Sanders

Tricia L. Sanders writes cozy mysteries and women’s fiction. She adds a dash of romance and a sprinkling of snark to raise the stakes. Her heroines are humorous women embarking on journeys of self-discovery all the while doing so with class, sass, and a touch of kickass.

1. How long does it take you to write a full novel? AND...what's a typical writing day look like for you?

It takes me about a year with my present process as I tend to have too many things going on at one time. Next year my goal is two books a year. I usually work about 4 hours a day and divide that time up between marketing, social media, and writing.

2. Beside's writing, what are you most passionate about?

I love to travel and take photographs. When I can travel, write and take photographs all together, I am in heaven.

3. If you could travel to any location to write a novel, where would you go and why?

Venice...There is something about that city that excites me. I would love to have a little villa overlooking a canal where I could drink tea, watch the gondolas and write non-stop.

4. What's the latest show you binge watched?

Currently I'm watching The Good Witch.

5. Tell us something most people don't know about you!

I'm an introvert and wish I weren't. I envy people who small talk comes easy to. It's just not in my wheelhouse. Once I get to know you, you can't shut me up, but the first meeting is always awkward for me.
