Guest Author Interview

Every few weeks I post a guest author interview on my blog where we get a little peek into an author's life! This week we're chatting with cozy mystery author CeeCee James, author of the Flamingo Realty Cozy Mystery Series. Have a question for CeeCee? Don't be afraid to leave a comment!

Cozy Mystery Author

 CeeCee James

CeeCee James is a USA Today best selling writer who got her story-telling feet wet with the many bedtime stories she told her children through the years. Some of her mystery series include- the Baker Street Mysteries, Angel Lake Cozy Mysteries, and the Oceanside Hotel mysteries. She's known for writing flawed sleuths with a good sense of humor and an added dash of romance.

1. How long does it take you to write a full novel? AND...what's a typical writing day look like for you?

It takes me about two months. I'd probably write faster but Facebook gets in the way, especially those crafting videos of people carving and painting.

2. Beside's writing, what are you most passionate about?

God, my family and my dogs.

3. If you could travel to any location to write a novel, where would you go and why?

Hello Hawaii! I love it there.

4. What's the latest show you binge watched?

The Real Housewives of NYC!

5. Tell us something most people don't know about you!

I'm a Hobbity introvert, minus the hairy toes.

The Flamingo Realty Cozy Mystery Series

My newest mystery project, Flamingo Realty, has been so fun and challenging. Stella O'Neil meets characters from a past series (Baker Street Mysteries) as she tries to solve a mystery within a mystery in this funny sweet series.

Thank you CeeCee for joining us today and sharing a little bit of your writing process and a behind the scenes peek at your personal life 🙂

Don't forget, you can ask CeeCee a question in the comments (I'll make sure she sees it) and of course shoot on over to her website where you'll learn more about her books (hint: she has A LOT!)
